LearnTastic Reviews (2026): Verified Price, Accreditation & Real Customer Ratings

LearnTastic (LearnTastic Solutions, LLC, also trading as American Health Care Academy and CPR AED Course) sells far more than nursing CE: OSHA, HR compliance, CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS, and healthcare courses. For nurses the relevant products are:

• RN Renewal Package (product page): the page lists 14 courses and a 42-CEU badge, and says 30 of the hours can be used for RN license renewal. Topics include implicit bias, substance use disorders, suicide prevention and mental health emergencies.
• State RN packages for California, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and New Jersey (California example).
• Individual state-mandated courses, for example Florida Laws and Rules, Prevention of Medical Errors and Human Trafficking. These are syndicated from Wild Iris Medical Education, not authored by LearnTastic.
• Unlimited plan: a $159/year Unlimited Healthcare Subscription was listed on Oct 28, 2026, but the /subscriptions page returned 404 on Oct 29, 2026. Not verified as currently offered.
• Bundles are self-paced, online, with "no tests – instant certificates" on the RN package.

There are no dedicated LearnTastic bundles for Florida, Texas or Pennsylvania (those URLs returned 404 or a redirect loop when we checked), so nurses there have to combine the 30-hour package with individual mandatory courses. See our state pages for the cheapest full combination.

Prices come only from LearnTastic's product pages and its cart. We never use prices or fees mentioned in reviews.

Refunds (vendor policy): a full refund if the certification does not meet your requirements and you email within 10 days of payment; no refund once a course is completed (refund policy, checked October 29, 2026). The site also shows a discount-code popup (code UPSKILL10, "maximum $50 discount" on selected courses); we did not apply any discount above.

We have not yet confirmed #17260 in the California DCA database ourselves; the lookup link lets you do it in under a minute. An ANCC claim without a provider number cannot be checked, so we mark it unverified.

We show these ratings as published by each site. We do not combine them into our own star rating or mark them up as a rating in search data.

We read 305 public records: 86 Trustpilot reviews (2023-11 to 2026-05), 179 BBB customer reviews and 40 BBB complaints (2023-11 to 2026-09). Overall, 225 of the 265 star-rated reviews (85%) gave 4 or 5 stars. Shares below are the percent of all 305 records that raise each theme; one record can raise several. Many Trustpilot reviews cover CPR courses rather than nursing CE. Reddit and allnurses were not included in this sample. Price or fee mentions are themes customers raise, not our pricing facts.

What customers like

• Helpful, friendly support agents (~34%, 104 of 305). Reviewers often name the agent who helped them.
• Fast, easy to finish (~30%, 93 of 305): self-paced, "right to the point", done in one sitting.
• Clear, useful content (~30%, 92 of 305) that is easy to understand for a renewal refresher.
• Quick certificates (~11%, 34 of 305): certificates available right after completion.
• Price felt fair (~3%, 10 of 305, all BBB) compared with in-person classes.

Where there is room for improvement

• Refund and support follow-through (~14%, 42 of 305): slow or no answers by email, refund disputes, mostly in BBB complaints.
• Charges higher than expected (~6%, 17 of 305 about extra items; 18 about billing or renewal surprises). Customers say add-ons such as wallet cards or extra courses ended up on their order. Our own cart test (Oct 28, 2026) found no pre-checked add-ons on nursing bundles.
• Certificate or login problems (~6%, 19 of 305): paid but could not reach the course or certificate.
• Acceptance questions (~4%, 11 of 305): an employer or board did not accept a course, often online-only CPR.
• Content too short (~3%, 8 of 305): experienced clinicians said some courses were too brief.
