How many CE hours do Washington RNs need?
Washington renews every year on your birthday. Each year you need 8 CE hours (at least 2 in health equity) and 96 hours of active practice, plus a one-time 6-hour suicide prevention course.
What if my Washington license expires?
You can renew late up to 1 year after expiration (single-state RN late renewal total $188 vs $138 on time). Past 1 year you must reactivate; if expired more than 3 years without an active license elsewhere, you must complete a refresher course.
