How many CE hours do Virginia RNs need?
One of nine options. Most nurses use 30 contact hours, or 15 contact hours plus 640 hours of active practice. ANCC-accredited providers are on the Board's accepted list.
What if my Virginia license lapses?
Renewal is due by the last day of your birth month. Late renewal adds a $50 fee. A license lapsed more than one renewal period needs reinstatement ($225) and a background check.
