How many CE hours do Ohio RNs need?
24 contact hours per renewal, including at least 1 hour of Category A. No CE is required on the first renewal after licensure by NCLEX.
What happens if I miss the Ohio deadline?
Renewing after September 15 adds a $50 late processing fee (ORC 4723.08(A)(9); OAC 4723-7-09). If you do not renew by October 31, the license lapses November 1 and you cannot practice until it is reinstated.
